This was a question asked last week in my social work class. Young children may say 40 is old, college students may say that 70's to 80's is old, but 40 to 50 year olds may say that 80's to 90's is old. Who's right? People are living to be in there hundreds that did not happen 30 years ago; people died in there 60's.
49% of women over the age of 75 live by themselves.
This means that men usually die first.
What is the purpose of a person 65 and older?
This question caused a big group discussion.
Everyone had a different opinion on this topic.
Health problems is main problem for seniors.
Also lots of seniors lost there retirement money in the stock market. This has become a big issue.
